We appreciate aviation’s rich heritage – from Orville Wright breaking the bond of earth for 12 seconds at Kitty Hawk to Space Shuttles routinely launching from Kennedy Space Center for missions leading to orbiting laboratories and interplanetary flight; from pioneer aviator Amelia Earhart visiting our then-new Marcy airport in 1928 to today’s flying clubs, business flights and general aviation activities at Oneida County's Griffiss International Airport.

ORISKANY, NY, Sept. 22, 2006 -- The 2006 Regional Air Show was one of the best ever at Oneida County Airport in Oriskany, thanks in part to a diverse lineup of performers.
